Finding the Editor

The Editor is the only way to edit and save changes to games. There are three main ways to start editing a game:
  1. Starting with a completely empty game, where you have to build everything from scratch
  2. Loading an existing game within the Editor
  3. Selecting an existing game from anywhere else in The Endless Mission and immediately loading into the Editor

1. If you want to start from scratch, select "Editor" from the Title Screen.

You will be taken to the Editor with an empty new game project.

2. If you are already inside the Editor, select "Load" at the top of the screen. You will be able to open any existing game in your Library.

3. If you are anywhere else in The Endless Mission, you can generally get into the Editor without having to go back to the Title Screen.

Press 'Esc' to open the main menu, then select the "CONTENT" tab and select the Library subtab. You will see a menu of all the games in your Library. Select "Edit" on the game you want will automatically launch theEditor and load the game you selected.

Note: In some cases, you may not be able to access the menu. If this is the case, you may need to go to a different activity or location.

You can only save your editing progress for games that you have authored yourself. For example, you can't edit the Platformer and save your changes, because the Platformer is authored by the developers. However, you can save the Platformer under a different name, which will then make you the author of that edited game.
